Frames — Privacy Policy

Last updated 7 July 2026

Frames is designed to work entirely on your device. It doesn't require an account, and your screenshots stay with you.

Information We Collect

Frames does not collect, sell, or share personal information. There is no sign-up, and the developer operates no servers that receive your data.

Your Images

Screenshots and images you import are stored locally on your device and are used only to create framed mockups. They are never uploaded to the developer or any third party.

On-Device Intelligence

If you turn on Auto Naming, Frames uses Apple's on-device intelligence to suggest a name from your screenshot. This runs entirely on your device; your images are not sent to the developer or used to train any model.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud, your projects sync through your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. That content lives in your iCloud account, is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and cannot be accessed by the developer.

Analytics & Tracking

Frames does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.

Children's Privacy

Frames is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
